When you work with Granting Wishes Consulting, you're gaining access to an entire grants team, not a freelance grant writer. We manage the full grants lifecycle on your behalf, including funder research, grant writing, submission, and post-award reporting.
We start by getting to know your organization deeply, then help you build a grants funding strategy, provide ongoing pipeline support, or step in for one-time grant needs. Whatever the engagement, our goal is to make grants less stressful and deliver a real return on your time.
We work best with nonprofits in the $2M+ budget range across Wisconsin and the Midwest, including the Fox Valley, Northeast Wisconsin, and the Twin Cities metro. If that sounds like you, we'd love to connect.

No grant writer can guarantee funding—and if they do, be wary. What we can promise is a strategic, well-researched, professionally written proposal that’s aligned with funder priorities and your organization’s strengths.
Many factors can contribute to a grant denial, but we do our due diligence to ensure you are putting your best foot forward. We ensure your organization’s mission aligns with the grant prospect and craft the most compelling proposal possible. We also assist with donor outreach and consider various other factors to enhance your chances of success.
In the event of a denial, we will help you follow up with funders, learn from their feedback, and strengthen future proposals.
-
We use a retainer-based fee system for our services. This approach ensures that you receive ongoing, dedicated support and allows us to provide comprehensive and continuous assistance throughout the grant process. By working on a retainer basis, we can better allocate our resources to meet your needs, offer consistent communication, and adapt quickly to any changes or new opportunities. The exception to this is one-off grant applications or projects, in which we offer an hourly rate.

We do both! Every package includes strategic guidance and research support to identify well-aligned opportunities. You’ll never be left wondering where to start.
